Photos & Mud

Our photo storage and editing program crashed. The pictures are safe, but I am going to have to completely remove the program and reinstall it. I worry about losing the pictures though. I've had that happen so many times. I'll press the wrong button and empty the memory card or the computer will break down and delete the pictures. I'm incredibly thankful for blogging though because I have uploaded the very best pictures I have taken since September onto the blog. When the computer system has gone down since then, I've enjoyed knowing that my pictures are in a safe spot. :-) I suppose the fun part of the whole thing is that I went ahead and downloaded a Photoshop free trial. Photoshop is the program that professional photographers use on their photos. It's very complicated, but I'm enjoying figuring it out.

From the looks of it, the garden is going to be a big trial. It's been raining and one of the beds is on the low side of the hill. It's barely even a hill though! My heart sank as I watched the rain come down and the bed turn into a foot of mud. I will be amazed if I am able to grow anything in it, even after I set out to fix the drainage problem.
