I do a lot of sewing and enjoy selling my stuff. One market that I have found to be incredibly profitable and interesting is making doll clothes. One incredibly popular trend among doll collectors right now is 30's style dresses. I've hung back from stepping into that area because it is hard to find historically accurate fabrics and patterns. About a month ago, I finally decided try and see if I could come up with something. I've had a great time designing this dress...
...so far, several people have really stepped forward to get one. Needless to say, that is always incredibly nice...but it is also a lot of work. I'm expecting to be spending the next few days working to complete the orders, and even though it does get boring and tedious...thank goodness for me that I enjoy doing it.
