The last time I was at Busch Gardens was in October on Halloween. I went with the idea that I wouldn't have to involve myself in the Halloween activities and that I wouldn't be into anything I didn't like. Boy was I wrong! The entire park was set up as a haunted house and I spent the entire time wondering what was going to jump out at me and what was waiting behind the next corner. It was stressful to say the least. Sadly, I am a person with a vivid imagination and being surrounded by people in horrible costumes can get to me. ;-)
Last Sunday was so much more enjoyable! It was a beautiful day!
...Joel in the huge rope maze...
Joel wanted to ride "Escape from Pompeii", which is a water ride. I did my best to encourage everyone that we wouldn't get wet, because the last time I had ridden it...I didn't get a drop of water on me. Big mistake. Our boat was loaded with people and the second we hit the bottom of the hill...we all got completely soaked. :-0 We ended up being the only people walking around the park drenched. Talk about standing out!
