Written Out

I am completely "written out". I began work on my research paper for the computer class I'm taking and was able to complete most of it today. I will put the finishing touches on it tomorrow morning and be ready to hand it in on Tuesday. It sounds silly, but I have never had to write an official research paper before that really did matter. I say that because in homeschooling, handing in an essay to your mother isn't all that big of a deal...at least it never was for me. In college, it has to be done just so or your grades begin slipping.

I am no John Boy and writing does not come easily for me. I can remember being terrified of having to write an essay in twenty-five minutes for the SAT. Terrified. Unlike writing in a journal where it doesn't really matter what I put down, I always have to sit down and really think about what I am writing if I think it matters. As a result, I can end up with some severe writers block!

I have made it through the day though and my hope this Tuesday is that I will hand in my paper and my teacher will like it. :-)
