Today was the day of the 5K!
It was nice to run in another race, but it was very challenging. It was hot, humid, and much of the course was on asphalt roads in the full sun. Unfortunately, I felt a little sick during the first mile. :-( It was not my best race, but I did finish in 27 minutes and placed 3rd in my age group!

Congratulations Micah-- that is exciting that you made such great time!
You have my great admiration! I can walk and walk and walk, but I feel ready to shoot myself after even 5 minutes of running. :P

Good Job! I ran one yesterday also.. The one in Pony Pasture.. Is that the one you ran? I ran mine in 25 minutes :) Good Job!
