I knew things were going too perfectly. Last week, on Sunday, I was able to get Leigh's
competition skating dress almost completely finished. It looked great, until we began to cut the skirt and cut a little too much. Not amusing. Yesterday, I finally began working on it again. Mistake after mistake happened. So I tossed it down and left it until this morning. Once again, mistake after mistake happened. I cannot seem to make it perfect. I may not strive for perfection in everything, but it is incredibly important to me in sewing. I have been able to get it all together with only a couple of tiny mistakes, and all I need is for Leigh to try it on. I am really hoping that it will work out, because I am at the point where I am incredibly frustrated with the whole thing and
cannot go back and do it over again. :-(
On a different note though, I have ordered more fabric so that I can make some more
hoodies. I have bought enough fabric to make a dozen, and have worked it out so that the first two I sell will cover all the expenses and the other ten will be pure profit. That's a happy thought!

I know how you feel Micah! I have basted Abram's quilt 3 times now...hopefully it won't pucker this time!
