We are just starting to get a little pay off from our garden. We haven't gotten anything from our big garden out back, but this little spot is proving to be pretty productive...
I honestly can't explain what is going on with our garden in the back field. The plants are tiny, some of them almost transplant size, and they are growing fruit! This isn't happening with everything, but it certainly is strange! I'm thinking that it has something to do with the dirt.
With our first few pickle sized cucumbers, I made a jar of sweet pickles. I'm not going to show a picture of them or even post a recipe because at the moment...they look strange. I'm hoping that I don't have something that is really weird on my hands. I tasted a pickle slice today and they aren't all that bad, but we'll see. Maybe there is hope.
