Without my mom and my aunt Linda, we couldn't have done it. They brought everything together perfectly. Aunt Linda made some of the most beautiful bouquets for the tables...
...and also brought tents, pound cake, and just so many other nice things.
We decided we wanted to make the food fun and tasty and we ended up settling on sub sandwiches. I thought they were perfect. :-)
...Joel and Samuel D...
...the ladies...Fallon, me, Meredith B., Hannah B., Meredith A., Alli J..
A bluegrass band came in and played music. We were clueless about finding some entertainment that everyone might enjoy. Mom wanted to do something with music, but when we contacted my old piano teacher...he couldn't make it. After that, we tried another band...but they couldn't make it. We finally were able to find a small group that would come in and do it. I thought they did really well!
Of course if you are going to have country music playing, you have to dance. We decided to do the Virginia Reel.

...the arch...
...Meredith A. and Elliot A. reeling the line...
I had a wonderful day and am so thankful to all the people who came and contributed to it. It was a day I doubt I'll ever forget.
