As always, we take a cross state trip to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle. :-)
Traveling this year was very different. In the past, we rented a large van that we could fit comfortably in. This year, we were going to take two cars. However, the very morning of the trip, Dad decided to take us all in his truck. The truck has a front bench and a small back bench. We rode hip to hip for five hours, but we made it to the relatives. :-)
As always, Thanksgiving dinner was delicious!
While I was out with my aunt walking the cousins' dog, everyone else discovered the uncle's motorcycle. It was huge! This kind of photo is the type that you hang on the refrigorator and everyone that sees it thinks you ride Harleys (or in this case, Yamahas).
On Friday, we had our first experience bowling. I wasn't sure what to expect, besides the fact that this could turn out very badly. I had mental pictures of throwing the ball and not being able to let go, or losing my balance and following the ball down the alley.
We got a laugh out of the weird shoes. ;-)
Believe it or not, bowling is extremely fun! It is unlike anything I have ever done before. I think we all enjoyed it and can't wait for another opportunity. For the record though, Cullen is the best bowler but I trailed behind him within a few points.

Sounds like a lot of fun! :))) Glad to hear you had a nice holiday weekend. The picture of the bowling balls being thrown is really cool too...
