Candy Houses

The day before Thanksgiving, Leigh, Joel, and I made gingerbread houses. Technically, this is a very late post. :-) But anyway, it is something that I have always wanted to do. The idea of building a house out of candy simply fascinates me.

We bought some discount candy, graham crackers, whipped up some royal icing, and were ready to go! I will be the first to tell you that the candy was a huge let down. I was expecting it to taste really good, but it tended to taste really bad. Despite that, we had a blast!
