Laid Back Sundays

Sundays...usually a day where we spend some time together and catch up on whatever it is that needs catching up on. ;-)

This Sunday is rainy. I've spent a great portion of my day watching Douglas and his friend fix a pickup truck. Not especially a fascinating way to spend the day, but I'm good with it. They worked on it yesterday, and way into the night. It was almost one in the morning before they quit. We all had a brief "What are you doing here moment?" when we discovered that the friend had ended up spending the night. It all worked out though. :-)

And speaking of the rain, the hole Joel dug, was filled with a foot of mud. Of course, being a boy, he couldn't resist making the most of it and jumping in. oh my word. I wish I had gotten some pictures, because he was covered from head to toe in mud. Mom was less than pleased.
