~ a QuiLt show in MaRch ~

Dad was kind enough to take Mom and I to a quilt show this morning. Unusually kind, because after following us around for fifteen minutes he got tired of it and found a place to sit for a couple hours while Mom and I took in the show.

Almost all of the quilts were on the abstract side and very few of them looked practical. Art forms I guess you could say is what they were.

It's hard to believe that some of them are actually quilts!
The vendors were my favorite part of the show. I usually don't get the time to walk through each one and look at what they are selling, but it was nice to do that this time.

So many wonderful colors of fabric! ;-)

The prices on things are absolutely out of this world. I came across these three buttons for $95! I can't imagine going to a show buying everything I needed for a quilt there. It would just be completely out of any reasonable price range.

~yours truly~
