My Sewing Room

My sewing room is my little corner of heaven. It's a place of inspiration! The room is a tiny space; ten by ten ft. at the most. It's also a room of many other uses. We store our clothes, art supplies, grain, toilet paper & paper towels, a water tank, and even a foot spa in there!

My corner of heaven was in need of some serious cleaning today...

...the problem with sewing is that it doesn't take long before things pile up. One of the top rules is to never throw anything away. After all, you might just need it some day! So I hold onto any usable pieces of fabric, scraps of velcro, knick-knacks of all kinds, buttons of all shapes and sizes...
I set out to straighten things up this afternoon. I folded up the fabric, put it away, sorted out the ribbon and thread, swept, all those kinds of things. I think it looks much better...
It will be so refreshing to go to work tomorrow in a clean place.

You had to tell the whole world where we keep our toilet paper didn't you? :)

Haha about Fallon's comment. :)

Your little sewing corner is so nice! I would love to have a permanent one. Currently, my "sewing corner" is set up in our foyer, but that's not going to last long.

I find I'm so much more productive when I can leave everything out in its own space instead of having to get it all out and put it all away each time I want to sew.

Have a great weekend!
