My relatives live in the mountains. The ride up there is just beautiful! It is hard to take a picture in a moving vehicle that really shows just how beautiful it is!
Thanksgiving dinner was delicious...as always. My aunt puts a lot of work into the meal and we all truly appreciate it.

I thought this light was so pretty.
Other than Aunt Linda and her husband, a cousin and his wife came over with their two year old twins to have Thanksgiving dinner. The twins were both very shy, and during the first night Leigh and I were only able to get the little girl to open up and little and have some fun with us. The second night though, both the little girl and little boy were able to relax with us and have a great time! Leigh and I both adore little children! I was in heaven!
The next morning, we went walking my cousin's basset hound Comet. The place where we walked was gorgeous! I took way too many pictures and had to run a lot to catch up with everyone else.

Cullen and Joel made their yearly exodus to the top of an old hunting stand. If you look closely you can see them looking out of the windows. I have gone up before, but I just do not do well with heights. :-o
This is a picture that Leigh took of the galax leaves that grow here. She is so much better at taking pictures of flowers and leaves and things like that than I am. I just can't seem to get the right angle or something.
A boy & his dog...or in this case...a boy and his cousin's dog.

Have you ever seen a dog drink out of a water bottle? Now you have. ;-)
That afternoon, we went to see the movie "Madagascar : Escape 2 Africa". It was a lot better than I expected it to be. The first one was incredibly blah, but this one was actually funny and wasn't hugely predictable.
The next morning we piled back up in the van and headed home.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Your Thanksgiving looks like it was so nice!
I just tagged you over at my blog.
It was so nice to get your comment on my blog the other day. I LOVE seeing what's up in the life of a homeschooled kid! My boys are taking a one year homeschool break while I finish my degree, but I can't wait to get them back with me next year and do awesome stuff like quilting with them!
Hope you have a great day!
