Looking for Spring

I've been keeping busy...and looking forward to sPriNg. :-) I'm tired of cold, gloomy days.

My civil war dress is moving right along. So far, I have finished the skirt, the chemise, and have bought the crinoline. The crinoline was a bit of a thing, because it wasn't long enough. I called and asked if they could send me a longer one, and they said they didn't have any in stock. However, they said that they would make me a custom one for $50. That was way out of my price range and way above and beyond what it is really worth! To fix the problem on my own, I bought some extra fabric and added extensions throughout it. I'm quite pleased with it now and thankful I didn't have to spend such a huge amount of money.

I can hardly believe it, but my quilt is almost done! I'm putting the binding on now and it should be completely done in about a week.

The thorn in my side right now is school. I am desperately trying to study for the SAT and CLEP History of the United States II. I hope to take both of them in May. I'll be graduated from high school at that point.

Don't you just love the pictures of the flowers?! I took them a year ago when everything was so pretty and green. Every time I look at them, they remind me of spring and how nice it is.
