Training Hard

Early this summer, I began to run. I didn't have a goal in mind besides becoming fit. Two months ago, I found the Couch-2-5K running plan and began putting it to use. It's amazing how far you can come from the first week to the final week. I've finished the plan and try to schedule myself so that I run three miles every other day. Tonight, I went out for the first time and ran the track at the public school to get a feel for running on concrete instead of a dirt trail. I really enjoyed it and it is so much more pleasant to run with others in the area than all alone. A while ago though, I did end up setting a goal. I'm going to run a 5K on September 26th. I'm excited about it, and even though it would be nice not to come in last, I just want to finish the race running. So, if you happen to be a runner, and want some form to whatever you are training towards...

Couch-2-5K Running Plan

...that's the link to the plan. You can pay $25 for it at some sites, but you can get it at that site for free. You can't beat that, seeing as how the plan actually works!

How cool! I love to run. Especially on those days when you feel as light as a feather and like you could run on forever... ya know?

How many days a week do you run?

Do you run with a music player?

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great!
