State Fair

Yesterday, we went to the State Fair! It is always such a fun thing to do.

...There are always heaps of tractors and other similar machines...and Cullen and Joel look at them all...

...We made our rounds through the animal pens...

...this rabbit caught my eye...he looks a little grumpy...

I entered a lot of things in the fair this year and I really enjoy going around seeing if I won anything. I was thrilled to pieces when I saw that I had won best of section for my quilt!

All the rides are so much fun!

I think that the scariest thing we rode on was the "Super Shot". It takes you extremely high up and then drops you. I wasn't expecting the drop to be so extreme and that I would get lifted from my seat!

One of the most amazing things we saw was a motorcycle show. The guy did all kinds of flips, jumps, and tricks on his bike.

Not a year goes by without finding the snake exhibit and holding the snakes.

I can't stand these things in real life, but for some reason I don't mind holding them at the fair.

We had a great day!

congratulations on winning a prize for your quilt - it looks lovely! :) I cannot understand the snake thing... I would not be able to ever hold one of those things...!
