On Thursday we went to the state fair. Usually our Aunt Linda goes with us, but she wasn't able to make it down here this time. So this year only Mom, Fallon, Cullen, Leigh, Joel, and I went. We had a great day!
We went through all the animal barns, and Cullen could not resist giving all the fluffy rabbits a good knead.
This rabbit had all the comforts of home!
I've always wondered why somebody would want to spend their time carving a tree root to look like a foot....

They had a show there called "Extreme Canines". The dogs a lot of fun to watch and could do some pretty impressive stuff. The dog below had to run up the trainer's back, jump across all three of those kids' backs and then catch a frisbee.
The best part of the fair is the rides!

The haunted house this year was really surprising. We go on it every year and nothing has ever popped out at us. The only things inside are just creepy pictures and gruesome statues. I was completely relaxed until right at the end when this horrible red haired clown lurched out in front of me. It scared me to death! Here is a picture though of Leigh and Cullen getting whisked through the haunted house...
(They were the only ones brave enough to go back through it.)
The snakes are amazing! Leigh, Fallon, and Mom have yet to hold one.
