thursday

When I first began this blog, I was hoping to be able to update it at least three or four times a week. But as you can see that goal has started to slip away from me and it's been six days since I lasted posted something. It's difficult though because I honestly don't have much to blog about. However, here is what has been going on today...

For the past three months I have been studying about history, so that I can take the CLEP American History test and hopefully pass. In the beginning it was interesting to learn about all the details about our country, but after a while, one treaty sounds exactly like another and you can't remember who won such and such a battle. I will be so relieved when all this history is behind me.

Almost all of the leaves around us have changed their colors. I am not much a nature person who likes sniffing flowers or something like that, but I do enjoy to take pictures of some of the things I see. I think the greatest problem I have when I take pictures, is that I know exactly what I want...but I can never seem to quite get it once I have the camera in my hand and I'm getting ready to take the picture. It's such a great feeling though when I am able to get exactly what I want, or at least something that comes close.

One thing that I am going to have to post about soon is this sampler quilt that I am working on. A good word to sum up the whole project is HUGE!

Have a good Thursday. :-)
