The museum was HUGE! It is almost impossible to understand just how big it is by looking at a picture. The dome ceiling in the center just stretches up and up!
We got to go to an IMAX theater for the first time. They were showing a movie about the volcanoes that are around the world. It was excellent. :-)
There were a ton of science exhibits, but what do you expect...after all it is a science museum!
A picture of Leigh and Aunt Linda...
As a special exhibit, a room in the museum had been set aside for a Hubble telescope display.
And just because the museum used to be a train station, everyone had to take a minute to pose in front of one of the trains.
If you asked, you were allowed to ride an electrical scooter. I cannot remember what the exact name of it is right now, but it was quite unique. It was able to balance itself and to go forward or backwards you had to lean in different directions. While I was riding it, I was worried that I would crash into something or someone. Now that would have been embarrassing. :-o
And one final picture of us...

It's a Segway. I tried one in Destin. Different, but fun!
