It has got to be my favorite place to get all the things I need for sewing. Walmart is good as well, but I can't count on what I need being there and all of our Walmarts have a poor selection. The problem with JoAnn is the prices. The good news though is that the store holds sales all the time and if you wait for them, you can get some great deals.
Today I went in there to get some materials to make fleece jackets for Cullen, Leigh, and Joel. Everything I needed was on sale and I am so thankful for that. The problem is going to be finding the time to make these jackets before spring, because I am buried underneath a HUGE quilt project.
Second stop...Walmart. I tried to find a hoodie and a blouse of some sort, but no luck. Walmart seems to have everything people need except decent sensible clothes. I was able to find a couple of nice shirts though that weren't extremely low in the front (or back), weren't made out of some flimsy knit fabric, and weren't plastered with Hannah Montana's face. So I'm happy about that! :-)
