On the second day of Aunt Linda's visit, we took a trip to the zoo. We had wanted to go to the zoo for a long time, but on the day that we are in that area, it's closed. So today was the day for the trip.

You can't have a zoo without lots and lots of animals...
There were about eight giraffes. If you were brave enough you could put some food on your hand and they would eat it up. I didn't do it because a giraffe's tongue is just nasty, black, and long and I didn't want it anywhere near me.

I love the zoo hats!! I agree with you about the giraffe's tongue...very gross!! Did you hear the lemurs making all their noise?
