I had been meaning to update yesterday, but I wasn't able to do it. On New Years, Douglas, Fallon, one of Fallon's friends, and I went to a civil war ball. I wasn't expecting to have a hugely fantastic time because I didn't have an outfit and I didn't know how to dance. By the end of it all though, I did have an outfit someone let me borrow and can you believe it...I learned how to dance! It was a lot simpler than I thought it would be and you just do the moves over and over again.
I can hardly believe that I only took
one picture. I was so busy doing other things I hardly even thought about making it a blog worthy event. ;-) Here is the picture that I did get though...
...it's not out of this world good, but it gives a general idea of what things looked like.
I am looking forward to the next one, if I can find a next one. I'm already in the process of teaching Joel how to dance so that I will have some sort of a partner.
