I switched on the television this morning and sat and watched the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court swear Obama into his role as president of the United States. It was a historic moment...albeit one that I didn't exactly want to see happen. But it has happened. I think now is the time we need to pray, and pray like we have never prayed before for our leaders. I think many times I tend to pray with a slant and ask for things to happen in ways that I believe would be good for God...and for me.
I firmly believe however that Obama was chosen by God for this moment; for our blessing or for our judgement. He will either be the best thing that has happened to this country or the worst. My prayer is that God's will, not mine, will be accomplished through this man.
