Most of the back of the quilt is done by hand. In order to prevent the seams from showing, you have to tuck in the raw edges like a hem and sew along that line. I'll have to post some pictures later.
It takes about four hours to do each square from start to finish, and then an extra hour to connect two squares. I've been working on it since September.
I'm going in for my final quilting class next week and I should be finished up completely sometime in February. I'm looking forward to that!
