Rounding One of the Final Bends...

I love it when I complete another series of steps on my quilt. So far I have all the blocks finished and I finished up the stripping that goes across today. All I have to do is put the length wise stripping on, do the border, and put on the binding. It all sounds so easy when I write it all out, but I think what is coming up is going to be the absolute hardest part of the quilt.

This one is called "Grandmother's Fan".

I am embarrassed to say this, but I cannot remember the name of this block for some reason. :-o

Those were the final two blocks though.

I quilt this pattern into the stripping as I go.

Micah~ I am curious as to how the back of your quilt is going to look. On each square do you already have the batting and backing quilted together? If so, how are you going to attach all the blocks w/o the seams showing all down the back? Maybe you could post a picture of it.

I think that it looks beautiful! I haven't been able to advance my quilting beyond plain squares. How long does each square take you?

Wow, this quilt is simply beautiful! I've never made a quilt before - I want to, just never got around to it because I spend most of my time sewing clothes and different quilted things (eg I made a quilted diaper bag, and a quilted shoulder bag)... I'm curious to know how long this quilt has taken you to make so far?
