Ever since I can remember, I've always wanted to wear one of those wonderfully gorgeous civil war era dresses; especially the hoop skirt part of it. After the
dance on New Years, I decided that I was going to make myself one of those dresses. Simplicity patterns was having a 99 cent pattern sale, so I went out today and stocked up on 1860's patterns. I also got a Regency pattern, because at some point...I want to make myself one of those dresses as well. I am really looking forward to getting started on this project...but I get the feeling that it is going to take me a
long time to do it.

I want to announce a giveaway that Hannah from
Honey & Jam is having. She is a fantastic cook and inspires me in every way to become more of an expert in cooking.

what store has the 99c patterns? I'm always looking for pattern sales!! I have relatives in USA who can get them for me if I can tell them where to go to find them on sale!! :)
JoAnns. The sales flyers they send out tell you when the sales are happening. :-)
Thanks!! :) I'm have to get mom (my mother in law) signed up to Joann's on my behalf! *grin* Patterns here cost about $7 when they are on a half price sale... that is the best I can do!! :( Even with postage, I reckong 99c patterns are the go!!
